I’m Erika and I am so glad that you have come to explore! I would like to start this journey by telling you a bit about me; I am a Wife, Mother and Speech Language Pathologist. I enjoy hanging out with my family, watching hockey and playing games. This past year I learned a lot – motherhood opened my eyes to a whole new level of worry, my son taught me that love is infinite (who knew that my heart would double in love at first sight of our baby) and my husband showed me that ultimately all that matters in this life is happiness. So Speech Language Pathology – I hope you’ve had a chance to browse my website and see what it’s all about….although I’m guessing that if you’ve ended up here, then you may be on a search for a Speech Pathologist 🙂 I decided a long time ago that I wanted to have my own private practice; this has been my dream all along. When you become a parent, the saying ‘time flies’ becomes part of your daily vocabulary because you now have this little one growing and changing daily as the visual reminder of how quickly time truly goes; this is why I decided to start my private practice in Speech-Language Pathology – if not now, when?
Our son is just over a year old now and it has been the most challenging yet rewarding time of my life; not to mention how much fun I am having watching his speech, language and social skills develop (I’m sure that you will read more in future blogs because it’s just so neat!….to me). Until I find my niche on here, you will read a variety of blogs relating to my life, my son, my work, and who knows what else!
